Ghostpine utilizes a GPS-capable vehicle ideally suited for Phase II soil investigations, soil profiling, site exploration, and soil surveys. The vehicle’s small size is ideal for minimizing impacts to the ground surface and surrounding environment.
The PTO-driven Marl Technologies M 2.5 is mounted on a Dodge 3500 truck powered by a Cummins turbo diesel. The truck is equipped with a 7.5-ft mast capable of a 6.5-ft stroke, and includes:
- a maximum drilling depth of 37 feet (11.2 m);
- 4-inch and 5.5-inch (10.2-cm and 13.8-cm) augers;
- 1.5-and 2.5-inch (3.8-cm and 6.4-cm) direct push core tubes; and,
- differential GPS sampling.
With our direct push core sampling and rotary drilling capabilities, Ghostpine can efficiently meet a range of environmental and geotechnical drilling needs.
