TD Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup

On September 9, 2007 members of Ghostpine staff gathered at Beaverdam Flats to participate in the TD Canada Trust Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup.
Participants split up into small teams and travelled forth with bags in hand to pick up garbage from the Bow River shoreline.
Notable finds included a left-hand turn traffic sign, a golf tee marker and numerous food wrappers and cigarette butts. After several hours, 3 km of shoreline had been cleaned up and 200 kg of garbage were collected. An excellent time was had by all, and Ghostpine now hopes to make this an annual event.
