Ghostpine’s experienced soils personnel have completed numerous projects at various survey intensity levels throughout western Canada (specifically British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and the Northwest Territories).
Ghostpine is able to provide baseline soil resource inventories for a variety of interpretive uses that meet regulatory standards. Our soil survey capabilities include:
- initial survey planning;
- field investigations;
- sampling and analysis;
- classification;
- mapping; and,
- preparation of reports and interpretations.
The basic objectives of a soil survey are to provide detailed soils information to assist in appropriate topsoil handling, and in reclamation planning and implementation, both during and after project construction.
