Wildlife Biologist(s)
Ghostpine is currently seeking Wildlife Biologist(s) who have a degree in environmental sciences or other related disciplines.
Ideally, the candidates should possess the following:
- Technical report writing skills;
- Organizational and communication skills;
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently;
- Project management skills, coordinate and train junior staff;
- Willingness to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time;
- Strong bird and mammal identification (visual, auditory, tracks, and sign);
- Vegetation identification and waterbody/drainage classification is a strong asset.
Applicants must be prepared to work in a multi-disciplinary project team environment while undertaking a variety of project-related tasks including: public and regulatory consultation, field work and report writing. Long days and weekend work will be required at times. The ideal candidate will have a Drivers License, H2S Alive, First Aid, Quad Safety, WHMIS, and TDG.
