Reclamation Technician
Ghostpine is currently seeking an individual(s) who has a Bachelors degree in environmental sciences or other related disciplines or technical diploma(s) relating to reclamation activities.
Ideally, the candidate should have two to five years applicable experience in the forestry, agricultural, regulatory oil and gas, or environmental industries. The candidate would have knowledge of environmental assessments involving vegetation and soils, and a familiarity with oil and gas operations, processes and safety requirements and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate would also have experience with Detailed Site Assessments, Phase I and Phase II Investigations, Pre-Site Assessments, and Post Construction Reclamation Assessments.
Applicants must be prepared to work in a multidisciplinary project team environment while undertaking a variety of project-related tasks including: public and regulatory consultation, field work and report writing. Long days and weekend work will be required at times. The ideal candidate will have a Drivers License, H2S Alive, First Aid, Ground Disturbance 2, Quad Safety, WHMIS, and TDG. An Alberta Pesticide Applicators License would also be an asset.
