Ghostpine is currently seeking an Archaeologist/Archaeological Technician for our Heritage Resources department. Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Provide support to permit holding staff (field and office);
- Field Survey
- Excavation
- Map/field preparation
- Artifact preparation and cataloguing
- Report preparation/editing
The preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in archaeology or anthropology and should be familiar with western Canadian heritage resources. Previous consulting experience would be a definite asset. This is a term position.
Long days and weekend work will be required including long periods of time away from Calgary.
Mandatory qualification requirements include: current certification in First Aid, H2S Alive, and ATV safety. If you are self-motivated, hard-working, and work effectively in teams, Ghostpine could be a fit for you.
