Our Philosophy
Ghostpine’s philosophy is to assemble experts in the various fields (soils, archaeology, palaeontology, wildlife, fish, vegetation, forestry, geotechnical); synthesize information obtained during their field surveys; and present a mitigation plan which addresses the issues to the satisfaction of the client and the regulatory authority. Since we assemble an in-house multi-disciplinary environmental team based on the nature of the development, Ghostpine is able to provide the client with some of the most experienced professionals in the industry to ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently and on budget at very competitive rates.
Ghostpine is a full member of the Environmental Services Association of Alberta (ESAA).
Our Focus
The process of development planning has become more comprehensive with a need for balancing the bio/physical environmental dynamics with regulatory requirements. Ghostpine recognizes our client’s business concerns and assists them to understand and comply with environmental regulations through quality assurance that projects are built in adherence to specifications set forth in applicable regulations and legislation. Since our inception, Ghostpine has focused on environmental consulting in various sectors throughout western Canada with particular emphasis on working cooperatively to identify ways to ensure the protection of the environment, thus meeting regulatory compliance. This illustrates that due diligence has been taken for all aspects of the environment.

Ghostpine has participated in providing regulators (Environment Canada) with innovative timing and setback guidelines for petroleum industry activities that affect COSEWIC species.
